Lil Wayne Faces Controversy For His New Video

Weezy is no stranger to controversy and his new video throws him right into the fire pit. The video for "My Homies Still" Featuring Big Sean mostly takes place in the most bizarre suburbia ever—pink elephants, dancing pandas and makeout sessions with mannequins included—all Wayne's usual brand of chaos.

Around the 3:35 mark in the video, Wayne and his gang are transported to a movie theater where they dance, sing, and throw popcorn at the screen. In what we call horrible timing the theater is filled with 12 skeletons exactly the same amount as the people who died in the recent Aurora Shooting During The Premiere Of The Dark Knight Rises

Once that connection was made, others were quick to point out other similarities between the music video and reports of the crime scene: For one, smoke bombs set off in the suburban streets (where Lil Wayne also skateboards past a pair of skeletons). And, at 3:28, a mirrored reflection in the window nearly takes on the shape of a bat.

While Wayne has yet to comment on the matter, the video's director Parris, took to Twitter to respond to the similarities. One user asked, "How do you feel about shooting the scene with the skeletons in the movie theater? Is that a bit eerie to you?"

"not at all. It's just sad that people try an associate a tragedy to a music video that was created by having fun nothing more," Parris responded. "I'm not that deep or sick to put cryptic messages in my videos purely art and entertainment."

Rick Ross Hustles In New Orleans For 'Hold Me Back' Video

Rozay will premiere the clip on MTV 2's 'Sucker Free' on Sunday at 11 a.m. It's typical rhetoric that has become synonymous with so many 2012 rap jams, but a more careful listen to Rozay's penetrating single reveals a deeper and more personal message, one that he intends to illustrate with the track's video. Kanye West Will Propose To Kim Kardashian When Her Divorce Is Finalized

Kanye and Kim have already been dating longer than her 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries lasted, According to inside sources the relationship is going so well that Kanye plans to propose as soon as her divorce is finalized.

Sources tell RadarOnline that Kanye has asked his personal jeweler to design an engagement ring, which will incorporate diamonds and rubies from his late mother's jewelry collection. Although sources say Kanye plans to propose when her divorce is finalized that doesn't mean it will be any time soon. The reality star filed for divorce in October of 2011 but with depositions being dragged out and a trial date has yet to be set.

There have been other reports that suggest that the couple are currently engaged, as Kanye reportedly gave Kardashian a diamond ring in June. According to Mediatakeout the massive rock was a token of Kanye's affection for Kim and should be viewed as anything more meaningful or elaborate than the $750,000 Lamborghini she gave him for his birthday.

Nicki Minaj Still Refers To Waka Flocka As Her "Brother"

In the music industry, relationships change on a daily basis, friends become enemies and enemies can become life long business partners. In this respect Nicki Minaj and Waka Flocka Flame have managed to stay close regardless of the many different factors that would have ordinarily destroyed any other friendship. Minaj was once managed by Waka's mother Debra Antney, and when she parted ways with Antney it seems like the relationship went sour.

Despite some of the fall out from the split Minaj brushes it off now and has confirmed that it hasn't affected her relationship with Waka. The two recently Teamed up on the Atlanta rappers single "Get It Low" from his Triple F Life Album.

"Waka Flocka is my brother. People know that I go way back with him and whatever he needs me to do, it gets done," Minaj said. "He called me, he sent me a song, I said, 'It's nothing.' I was finishing up my album and I said, 'You know? I got you, it's nothing.' "

Just a few hours before they linked up to film the "Get Low" video, Waka joined Nicki onstage in Atlanta, where she touched down for her Pink Friday Tour with 2 Chainz. According to her recap of the show, you really had to be there to understand the energy.
